Mobile application of the Civil Registry and Identification Service of Chile, which allows you to request a reprint of the identity card.
The request for the reprint of the identity card will keep the data, photograph and date of the last valid identity card. The reasons for requesting it are: Theft / Theft, Loss or Own Will.
The requirements to reprint an identity card are:
- Be over 16 years old at the time of your last application
- The applicant must have obtained their identity card, after September 2013.
- Your current identity card must be valid for at least one month to its next expiration date.
- The person must not have a pending ID.
- The name, sex or date of birth of the person, must not have undergone modifications with respect to his last identity card obtained.
Instructions for using the app:
- At the beginning of the application you will have to enter your Run, without points or hyphen.
- On the next screen you must enter your mother's first name and the commune of your home address. For this last field, you must select the commune that appears in the list of suggestions.
- Once you pass the 2 screens, you will be asked to enter a verification code, which will be automatically sent to your email. Next, you will need to check your email.
- When completing the 3 validations, the delivery information form will be displayed, where you will have to: enter an email, in which you will receive the receipt to be able to withdraw your identity card; select the reason for your reprint request: Theft / Theft, Loss or Own Will. If you select Own Will, your current ID will be blocked at the time of delivery of the new document in the office, however, if you select the reasons Theft / Theft or Loss, your current document will be blocked at the time of making the reprint request.
You will have to select the office where you want to go to pick up your document, first you must select: Region, Commune and then the Civil Registry office, where you want to pick up the document.
- When you complete the above requirements, the facial authentication screen will be displayed, which, through facial biometric techniques, will validate that the user in front of the camera corresponds to the facial biometry contained in the database of the Civil Registry Service and ID. 2 points will be displayed, which you have to select by moving your face, carefully following the instructions that appear below the screen.
- If you completed the biometric verification screen successfully, a screen with your full name will be displayed, which will allow the payment window to complete the process.
The WebPay window will be displayed, where you can enter your bank details to pay the request and finish the process.
Once the payment is made, you will be able to view the last screen of the flow, which indicates that you have completed your request successfully and that the receipt of the request was sent to your email.
